Natural beauty: Antelope Canyon

Simon has a knack for finding a hidden gem while travelling, and our American road trip was no exception. Hands down, the natural highlight was our afternoon at Antelope Canyon. Located in a Navajo park near Page, Arizona, this breathtakingly beautiful slot canyon was caused by centuries of flash flooding, forming a series of rainbow-hued sandstone chasms. We weaved our way through Lower Antelope Canyon, a kilometre-long stretch that’s not for claustrophobics. The photos say it all really.
