Sarah Gamboni is an Australian food, drinks and travel writer, currently living in Dubai. Sarah is an accomplished journalist and editor, with 13 years’ experience in print and digital publishing, content production and social media marketing.
Since swapping the Hunter Valley for north-east Thailand as a 17-year-old, Sarah has been obsessed with street food (and she has the stretchy jeans to prove it). A six-year stint on Delicious Magazine saw her seek out Shanghai’s best xiao long bau and Hanoi’s finest pho, before moving from Sydney to Melbourne to join the team at boutique travel publisher Mr & Mrs Smith.
After a spell in Hong Kong, where she wielded pen and chopsticks for Crave magazine and Asia Tatler Dining, Sarah returned to Melbourne to review for Australia’s leading restaurant guides and write food, wine and travel features for Halliday Wine Companion Magazine, Mercedes-Benz Magazine, Jetstar Magazine, Delicious and Tourism Australia.
These days, Sarah gets to indulge her love of travel, sunshine and flavour-packed fare as she explores the Middle East, Europe and Asia from her base in Dubai.
